Original pitch pine Firesurround for wood burner.
It has lovely raised design on the front .
I have upcycled this item and treated of woodworm just as a precaution due to age.
It is finished in Briwax old pine wax .
The sides as you will see in the photo are made from 3 layers of timber the last one is added by me to make it sit flat to the wall.
I have added 4 brass mounting plates to allow for securing to the wall, back in the old days it was naile directly through the legs of the fireplace and you may see the nail heads on the body ( I have cut them at the back so as not to damage the front )

116 cm tall
121 main body and 131 at top under shelf
Centre hole is ,
97 cm tall
91 cm wide
